One day a little boy was watching his grandmother write. He approached her and asked: – “Grandma, are you writing a story that happened to us? And is it, by any chance, a story about me?”
The grandmother stopped writing, smiled and replied:

“I’m writing about you, it’s true. Now, more important than words, it’s the pencil I’m using. I would like you to be like him when you grow up.”

The boy looked at the pencil, intrigued, and saw nothing special.
“But, it’s the same as all the pencils I’ve seen in my life!”

“Son in life everything depends on how you see things. There are five qualities in which, if you manage to keep them, they will always make you a happy person in the middle of this world.”

First quality: You can do great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand that guides your steps. We call that hand God and it must always guide you in the direction of his will.

Second quality: Every now and then I need to stop writing and use the pencil sharpener. With that the pencil suffers a bit, but in the end it is sharper. Therefore, you must know how to bear some pains, because they will make you a better person.

Third quality: The pencil always allows us to use an eraser to erase mistakes. You must understand that correcting a thing that we have done is not necessarily a bad thing, but something important to keep us on the path of justice.

Fourth quality: What really matters in the pencil is not the wood or its external shape, but the graphite that it carries inside. Therefore, always watch your heart from bad things.

Finally, the fifth quality of the pencil: It always leaves a mark. In the same way, you have to know that everything you do in life will leave traces and try to be aware of all your actions.
